ITINERARY :
Day 01 – Arrival Amritsar -Wagah Border
Arrive Amritsar Railway Station. On arrival meet and greet by our
representative who will take you to the hotel. Check in hotel. Evening
visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an
army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily
highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from
both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of
bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down,
nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of
the day amidst thunderous applause.
Day 02 - Amritsar - Dharamsala
After breakfast, start your city tour visit Golden Temple-the most
important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a
living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.
Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and
Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing
hundreds of civilians. After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer
Palace Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is
situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar, Afternoon drive to
Dharamsala On arrival in this Himalayan hill resort that is the abode of
Dalai Lama, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you
to enjoy at leisure. We suggest you enjoy a walk along the mall road,
where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts. Overnight stay at
hotel in Dharamsala.
Day 03 - Dharamsala - Manali
After early breakfast at the hotel we take you to Dalai Lama
Monastery and Bhagsu Nag Temple, then We visit Norbulingka Institute
which is perhaps one of its best in the world. The institute has its own
temple, Museum, Meditation Hall, One thousand, one hundred and
seventy-three images of the Buddha decorate the forty-four foot high
temple hall, proceed to Manali (6-7 hrs. journey by car) by road, en
route visit of Palampur tea garden. Arrival at Manali and transfer to
hotel. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 04: - Manali - Keylong (101km) 
After breakfast drive to keylong. We also visit Dashohar Lake and
Beas Kund and drive past the green meadow at Keylong (3348 m). Arrive at
keylong, overnight stay at hotel in Keylong.
Day 05: - Keylong - Sarchu (230km)
After breakfast we leave for Sarchu on the border between Himachal
Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. you can see the nomadic Gaddi people and an
army outpost here. On the way we stop at Barchala Pass (4891 m). At
Barchala, which means “a pass with cross roads," the roads from Ladakh,
Zanskar, Lahaul and Spiti intersect. Stay overnight at tents in Sarchu.
Day 06: - Sarchu-Leh
After Breakfast we leave for leh. On the way we halt for lunch at
Lachluang La (5079 m). We arrive at Leh in the evening on arrival in Leh
you will meet by our representative and check in at our hotel for
overnight stay in Leh.
Day 07:- Leh–Khardongla pass–Leh (85 kms)
After Breakfast at Hotel , we take you for Day excursion to
Khardongla passes which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600
mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of World Records. At the
top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the late
afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 08: - Local Sightseeing - Leh
After breakfast full day visit to Samker Gompa & Leh Bazaar, Leh
Monastry, Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Samker Gompa is little up in the
valley, 3 Kms from Leh Town, which is open to visitors in the morning
and evening only. The Gompa belongs to Yellow Sect & was founded in 18th
Century. The Gompa is the seat of the Head Lama of Ladakh & founder of
yellow sect, Tson-Kha-Pa. After Sanker, visit Leh Temple & Walk back or
Drive to Leh Bazaar. Overnight in Hotel in Leh.
Day 09:- Leh – Hemis /Shey /Thiksey
After breakfast at hotel visit monasteries of Hemis, Thiksey & Shey:-
Shey – it was the ancient capital of Ladakh and even after Singge
Namgyal built the more imposing palace at Leh, the kings continued to
regard Shey, as their real home. The importance which was attached to
Shey - the seat of Ladakh's heartland - is attested by the enormous
number of Chorten about the village, particularly around the palace
complex and barren plain to the north of the road.
Thiksey – is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas. There are
several temples in this Gompa containing images, stupas and exquisite
wall paintings. It also houses a two - storied statue of Buddha which
has the main prayer hall around its shoulder.
Hemis – which is dedicated to Padmasambhava, what a visitor can observes
a series of scenes in which the lamas, robed in gowns of rich, brightly
colored brocade and sporting masks sometimes bizarrely hideous, parade
in solemn dance and mime around the huge flag pole in the center of the
courtyard to the plaintive melody of the Shawn. Overnight stay at hotel
in Leh.
Day 10 - Leh – Uley/Alchi
After Braekfast drive to Alchi, en-route visit Basgo fort, Spituk
Monastry. Basgo Fort one of the top 100 endangered World Heritage sites
and comprising of a 500 year old citadel and a 400 year old mud brick
Gompa. Spituk monastery standing on a conical hill with three chapels
was founded in the 11th century but the buildings in a series of tiers
with courtyards and steps date from the 15th century. The Yellow-Hat
Gelukpa monks created the precedent in Ladakh of building on
mountain-tops rather than valley floors. You can have a good view of the
countryside around. Overnight stay at Camp/Tent in Alchi/Uley.
Day 11:- Uley/Alchi: – Leh 
Early morning, proceed to visit Rizong Monastery. It has a monastery
and a nunnery, which accommodates lady monks or Nuns locally called as “Chomos”.
After visiting Rizong Monestry drive towards Leh en-route visiting Likir
Monastery. Likir was built during the reign of Lachen Gyalpo who
installed 600 monks here, headed by Lhawang Chosje. The Gompas was
invested with a collection of fine images, Tangkhas and murals to vie
with those at Alchi. The present buildings date mainly from the 18th
century since the original were destroyed by fire. Likir was converted
to the Gelupa sect in the 15th century. The head lama, the younger
brother of the Dalai Lama, has his apartments here, which were extended
in the mid 1990s. Before arriving into Leh, visit to Phyang Monastery,
this is 17 Kms from Leh, built by Tashi Namgyal in 16th century A.D. and
belongs to the Red Cap Sect of Buddhists. check-in at hotel. Overnight
stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 12 - Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh - 290 Kms
Leave early morning at 5am to Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486
Mtrs. While Ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful
panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass
halt for picnic, lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks.
Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive to the western shore of the
lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the lake. This famous blue
brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wid and over 144 Kms long with half
of its running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". One rarely
feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is
unforgettable. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Night stay at
hotel in Leh.
Day 13 -Leh - Kargil

After breakfast check-out and drive to Kargil. On arrival in Kargil
check-in at the hotel.Dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 – Kargil - Srinagar (Via Sonmarg)
Morning after breakfast drive to Srinagar via Sonmarg. On the way
You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where
snow remains round the year. On arrival at Srinagar check in the Deluxe
Houseboat. Welcome drink on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in the houseboat.
Day 15 – Srinagar
After breakfast we will take you to the full day sightseeing of
Srinagar, visit the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring),
Nishat Garden (The Garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love).
In the afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight in the
houseboat.
Day 16 – Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar 112 Kms
After breakfast full day excursion of Gulmarg - the most beautiful
summer resort in the Kashmir valley. It is famous for its highest golf
course and skiing in winters. You can enjoy a pony ride and Gondola ride
(cable car) to Khilanmarg (at your own cost). Return in the evening to
the houseboat. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 17 – Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar

After Breakfast full day excursion of Pahalgam .En-route visit
Saffron fields. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder
River. Enjoy local sightseeing of Pahalgam.Overnight Pahalgam.
Day 18 – Departure
After breakfast the day is at your leisure till we transfer you to
the Airport for your onward/Return Journey.
